How long does it take to have tint installed on my vehicle?
The installation process generally takes 2-3.5 hours depending on the difficulty of the car,
cleanliness, and the number of windows. Window tinting is not a race, and we take our time
to insure a quality install. Our installers have many years of experience and we offer the same
quality of work to each and every customer.

Anything I need to do to prepare my car for my tinting appointment?
We clean all windows inside and out, there is no need for you to do that. One thing that helps
us out greatly is if you could remove any extra items such as Child safety seats, book bags,
clothing, wrappers, ect. The more stuff in our way, the longer it will take us to remove it
from your vehicle which is time taken away from us starting on your vehicle.

Does tinting go on the inside or outside?
Window tinting goes on the inside of the windows. If you see our installers with the film on
the outside of the glass they are just cutting patterns or shrinking the rear window film.

What do I use to clean my tinted windows?
do not use any ammonia based products like Windex. We use and suggest using Plexus
(sold at our shop) but soapy water and a cloth also works just fine.

How long must I wait to roll down my door windows?
We suggest keeping your windows up for about 2-3 days until the film cures.

I just got my windows tinted, they look streaky and bubbly, what's up?
Every vehicle that leaves our shop looks like this. When applying our film we use water.
This water gets trapped between the film and the glass and looks streaky. This is normal
and usually goes away in about 3-5 days. To speed up the drying process park the vehicle
in the sun, so the water can evaporate.

Will tint damage my rear defroster?
No your rear defrost will work as if there was no tint ever applied. We tint over all the defrost
lines and you can use them as soon as you get your vehicle back from the install.

Will the window film you applied fade?
We here at TNT Window Tinting use only top quality film. When you get film applied at our
facility everyone receives a nationwide lifetime warranty to protect you from bubbling,
purpling, peeling, fading, & cracking. If there is a problem come see us or any LLumar dealer
                          in the country.

                          How durable is window tinting?
Our window film is protected by a scratch-resistant coating that can withstand everyday use
and kids. The key word however is "resistant", this doesn't mean scratch PROOF. Just use
care when loading and unloading larger objects or things that have sharp edges. Use caution
when taking off your seatbelt and jewelry, these are common items that can nick and gouge
your window film. Those are some of the most common issues we see that are not covered
                          in the warranty.

Why does other shops charge less?
We use high quality window film, some shops claim they use high quality films with a lifetime
warranty, and really use cheap films. Over time they will just bubble and turn purple, be sure
to choose a shop with a good reputation. Remember Experience is very important! Some shops
have installers with little experience and lack the skills needed to do a nice quality install.
At TNT experience is not a problem, we have had the same 2 installers since TNT was originated.

                          Can window film be removed?
Yes, window film can be removed. it is not a fun job, and quite messy. It is recommended to
have a professional remove the film. With back windows use caution because you do not
want to damage the rear defrost lines.

How much is tinting going to run me?
Pricing widely ranges, and is honestly based on what kind of vehicle you have. All vehicles
have different tricks, number of windows and curves. Please contact us and we will get you
                          an accurate quote!

                          What is Dot Matrix?
Most cars have a black ceramic "frit" edge on the rear window. Sometimes this ceramic edge
is straight and flat, sometimes it will have a dotted edge. These black ceramic dots are quite
thick on most cars and prevent the window film from sticking to the area between the dots.
This results in a whitish looking area. Typically this isn't very noticeable, however some cars
have a wide band of dots on the top of the rear window. This area is so wide that the whitish
looking area created is more noticeable. At TNT we scrub the dot matrix to make them lay down
as much as possible but unfortunately, the film will not lay down completely flat on the dot matrix.

                           Why was paint protection developed?
Paint protection was originally developed to protect the leading edge of helicopter blades in the
Vietnam War from sand and debris. It has come a long way since then, we no longer have to worry
about yellowing or cracking with the films we use today.

What are of the car will be covered?
Every year make and model are different. Generally the hood, fenders, side mirrors, bumper
and door edges are most common. Many kits have the option to include the headlights, door
handles, rocker panels, and the top of the rear bumper. Our patterns are professionally designed
and computer cut based on each year, make and model. you get to pick which areas you want
protected. We don't require purchasing a complete kit. We also do custom pieces in ANY area.

Do I need to do anything special to maintain my vehicles protection once applied?
No, just simply wash and wax as you normally would. With every full kit we supply our customers
an aftercare kit which includes care instructions, a can of plexus (cleaner) and a micro fiber towel.

Will the areas protected fade under the sun?
Yes, The film we use is UV stable and will allow UV rays to penetrate. You will not have a
"two toned" look like with traditional leather car bras.

If I sell my car can it be removed?
Yes. There will be no adhesive left behind when removing the film and your vehicle will be
looking as great as the day you got it.

How long will the installation take to complete?
Most installations take between 4-6 hours. We prefer you to drop off your vehicle the
evening before installation so we can clean and cut patterns.

Is there a Warranty or Guarantee?
Each of our paint protection kits come with a nationwide lifetime warranty protecting you from
bubbling, peeling, cracking, or yellowing. TNT stands 100% behind our craftsmanship and
                           customer satisfaction is number one.

Why should i pay more for Paint Protection Film when i can use a bra or bug shield?
Paint protection film will NOT damage your vehicles finish. Bras have been known to rub
underneath and bug shields can rust or rub as well which defeats the purpose of having them
                           on your vehicle.

Why should I choose TNT to install paint protection on my vehicle?
When it comes to protecting valuable assets like your automobile make sure you don't choose
an amateur. Automotive paint protection installation is a difficult process and requires a lot
of knowledge and frequent installation to have a nice quality install. Steve, our master installer
has over 3 years experience and has installed paint protection film on over 100 vehicles.
                           After all, experience is EVERYTHING!
